I've just finished reading Calling Romeo so the next book on my reading list is Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight.
I was supposed to read it right after I finished the Calling Romeo but I think it will at least take some time before I get over the book. But then, that's just me :)

Just my opinion so far :)

I agree about Damen (love interest).

It's so good! The ending might be a little disappointing for you, it depends on how you take it.

Speak looks like an awesomme book thats going to be on the list for books to read!!

As a good alternative (with a great plot), I'd recommend "American Assassin" by Vince Flynn (modern day setting, of course). Animal Farm is a classic, but Orwell's other classic, "1984" is even better!

My cousin said the series was great, but I only have the first one and haven't ha the time to read it. But I'm glad to hear you liked it so far. I've heard good things.

Oh my gosh, Christy, THAT BOOK! I love Cassandra Clare, and I honestly had to stand up and walk away from that book more than once, especially as I got closer to the end, just so I could calm down before I continued reading :)

I think it's easier to say what I don't like: cheesy romances and dungeons and dragons types of fantasies. Anything that is predictable is just ugh to me. Other than that I'm super open to new genres and books.

Have you tried The Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward?

Now it's suppose to be funny, is it?

Is Gone Girl the Dennis Lehane book?

Actually no, I had never heard of the series. I just placed the first one onto my To Read shelf, so hopefully I'll givve it a go in February. Thank you for the recommendation.

Now it's suppose..."
Yes it is supposed to be funny and it's hilarious. They are some parts when I'm laughing up a storm. Have you read it?

Now..."
No I have not. I've heard Radio adaptions of Dickens, and seen some movies, but will have to sit and read some of his books. Glad you're liking it, I hope to read it first of his books.

If you ever get the chance read it, it's good. It's actually the first Charles Dickens book I've read, after this I want to read Tale of Two Cities or Great Expectations.

Your welcome...it's one of my favs :)

I really want to read A Tale of Two Cities, and I know some of Dicken's books are wonderful, but I read Great Expectations and did not like it. I'm not saying you shouldn't read it by any means, and I was a sophomore in high school when I read it, but it was one of those books where the characters weren't very redeemable to me. If you get a chance to read it, let me know what you think!
Lillie wrote: "So I have a question for anyone that might be able to answer. I'm looking for an adult vampire book, or series. I read the first...6 maybe of the Anita Blake series, but then it just became too muc..."
Lillie, like Randi said I've heard really good things about the Black Dagger Brotherhood books. There's also a series called Night Huntress that I think is fantastic!

I think it's easier ..."
Alright then! :D Hopefully I can give you a list of some good ones from a lot of different genres so you have some variety to choose from.
The Thirteenth Tale is a fantastic mystery-type story. Extremely well written with a nice twist :)
The Harry Potter series, if you've never read them.
Redeeming Love. It's a Christian fiction novel, so I understand if you're not interested, but it's a beautiful story. I've reread it a few times.
The Fault in Our Stars is a YA fiction. Definitely in my top three books of all time. Funny and poignant and wonderful :)

Pete, no this book is by Gillian Flynn.

That's awesome !! It's a great book like all the John Green books :)

I also just readThe Night Circus it was a great magic story, I really loved it!
I am currently reading capitol threat by William Bernhardt. I highly reccomend his book Murder One.

My son who is a Freshman in high school had Speak as an assignment. I read parts of it mostly toward the end and want to some day read the whole book.
