I understand they are not everyone's cup of tea, but these are really good mini series kinda books lol. Shame I only have 5 to review, but will definitely be thinking about the other 3 to finish the series lol.

Then I started The Cuckoo's Calling

All 3 were AMAZING!

Could you let me know how well the Kinsella book is? That's been on my TBR and she's an author that gets rec'd to me a lot.

I've read all but one of her Shopaholic series books, LOVE them. She's a great comedy write, don't expect anything prolific, but if your looking for a light fun read, I'd try one of her books

Cool. :)

You should definitely read Sabriel by Garth Nix. I absolutely loved it. The story introduces a world beyond the wall that is filled with magic and plagued by the undead. Sabriel must go on a perilous journey to save her father who is trapped beyond the wall.
The Emperor's Edge is good if you want a young adult book with a bit of steampunk in there. I've just finished the third and can't wait to start reading the fourth one.
Also Divergent and Daughter of Smoke & Bone which have been our books of the month are amazing if you haven't read those.
Hope these help.

You can click newest at the top of the page to do that. If you do it on your phone just get the little menu up to do the same.

Glad you like it. I couldn't put it down!

But I have to mention the one I am almost done with. Bobby Ether and the Academy. I was lucky enough to get a copy from the author and it is REALLY good. It is meant for more young adults but I do not mean your hunger games type book. It is a mystery, adventure, fiction. I have to look at the other genres it is in. I cannot put it down and I have 58 pages to go and am slowing down because I love it so much I do not want it to end. I suggest you write the author and ask him I am sure he will send you a copy. If you are an adult, a comparison I can draw is A Series of Misfortunate Events - it is similar. Great read for an adult, and the whole mystery and adventure. So when I am done I will post what else I am reading and almost done with :)

Additionally i have to read a book by Goethe for school, which is fairly boring ... :S

Now I am reading these next

I liked it too. I listened to the audio version and it was a refreshing book to listen to.

I just finished the whole fifty shades of grey series and i agree that it wasn't as bad as people said. It actually had a plot... :)

Move over Rebus, here comes Blake…
Detective fiction is a little like drinking wine: there is a lot around and everyone has their favourite. When something new comes on the market, the drinker or the reader, looks longingly to their favourite brand or book and says, "I hope the new one is like the old one..." It's not an exact science of course: there is a chemistry to it. The reader can like a new detective story, and then the reader can love a new detective story.
I am a fan of detective stories. I began with Agatha Christie back when I was eleven. I read Sherlock Holmes and moved onto the feminist detectives in the early eighties. It's a little hard to define what I like: sometimes I think that reading anything is really a love story and so is undefinable, but....
I picked up American Crow by Jack Lacey and was hooked. I love American Crow. The character of Sibelius Blake is strongly written and interesting. Blake’s back story comes out through the novel. The plot ending ties beautifully with the beginning: it is very well structured.
