That looks good. I'm always on the look out for a suggestion in any genre. Let me know how you're getting on (I'm not allowed to buy any more books until I've read at least two or three I've already got. Since I got my Kindle and joined Goodreads there's just too much intriguing stuff out there! :)

At the risk of sounding like a fossil, I would venture a theory. In general, women read more than men because they have more opportunity. A lot of women are not confined to a job location every day. They can read in small increments while waiting for the laundry, waiting in line to pick up the kids, waiting at the doctor's office, etc. I find that now I am retired, I do a lot more reading than when I was working.

Carolyn I'm currently reading 'Carrie' by Stephen King. It's an interesting book, but I'm not sure my feelings on it.

I bought 'Before I Fall' by Lauren Oliver today for £1.99(!) so I think that is my next read.

If you like, I Never Promised you a Rose Garden I think you might like Sunshine in Darkness...it’s about a girl who’s been trapped outside her body for 17 years. After she takes it back from the Intruder who stole it, she has to learn how to live in a world she has only observed --also no one believes her story so she's sent to a mental institution where she must prove her sanity and fight other intruders. It’s a metaphorical coming of age story... :) Just thought I would share.

Haley Rooky wrote: "@HAILEY

It's kind of a spin off of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". So it features the faeries from that as many of the characters, and its about a girl who finds out her father is Oberon, who is the king of the Summer Court of faeries. Her younger brother is kidnapped by the fae, so she travels to the Nevernever (fairyland) to save him. They're really pretty good, I just got annoyed by the main character sometimes. But I loved the supporting cast :)

Yeah, the author rushes through the conclusion and throws in a twist that I think she meant to be shocking, but ends up just ticking you off. lol.
