I haven't been so far, but the day is young! I have a huge... nay, humongous, pile of books beside me. I could do with being snowed in for six months with no Internet connection and ear plugs.

Everywhere I post I put the book I am currently reading like on twitter so those people are getting the promotion.

When I add a book to my Goodreads shelf, it updates Twitter so everyone knows what I added. There's a widget thingy somewhere that I signed up to.

That's cool but way over my head.

My list is growing, and I've had an online computer problem for days now. On Twitter, I can see your profiles but when I click on Follow, it will not connect. It's my computer, as I've not had this problem in the past 5 months or so that I've been twittering! grrrr! ha ha ha When I'm up and running full speed, I'll be following all because I am interested in what everyone is doing to achieve the success desired.

I just found out that Sons of Avalon Merlin's Prophecy is one of ForeWard Magazine’s 2008 Book Of The Year Award Finalists in the Young Adult category!

The winners will be announced the end of May. But, it is just so exciting to be one of the finalist! Whoo wooo!

What is all this twittering anyway? Can I join in? what do I have to do? Someone said the best thing about it was it didn't take up too much time, which would be good for me, I don't seem to have a moment to myself these days, what with promoting Ferryman, and getting the next book ready for the publisher to look at, my face to face writing group, and my International Writing Workshop people looking for critiques, my reading has slowed to about half an hour at bedtime! If Twittering is another way of promoting ones book, then I had better look at it.

Twitter is a networking site. Like a micro-blog. It only allows you to post short sentences...I think it is only 142 characters long. Like blogging shorthand.

Fun way to keep up on what is going on. You can Twitter on your computer and from you phone.

There is even a way to twitter from Goodreads from your phone while you are in a bookstore, to get book ratings and reviews. Don't ask me how to do that, as I have only been a twitter a week.
