RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Did you remember to move your clock ahead an hour? Does the time change mess you up? Do you like it? I think Sally said she likes the extra light...comments?

I always worked the "spring ahead" shift when I did college radio. The overnight Saturday gig was fun...

Sarah | 13814 comments Last year I was at a conference and forgot and wondered why they had started the morning session early...it took me hours to figure out my mistake.

I shall not make that mistake again.

You seem pretty sure of yourself on that.

I don't understand why they can't make them automatic like PCs and Macs. It's a pain! They're never user-friendly. It's push this button and hold for 3 seconds, then push a second button 3 times within 6 seconds ... or some silly shit like that.

I usually go to church at 8. I had to go at 9:45 because we just couldn't get moving this morning. I hate the spring time change.

Nuri (nools) | 538 comments Service at my church is 3-5pm. Yay for accommodating college/young-adult ministries! : )

Although I do miss a traditional morning service every now and then.

message 9: by Matthieu (new)

Matthieu | 1009 comments I woke up at 2:18 today, so I was all confused. Every clock/watch/phone/computer said something different.

message 10: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) We used to have to wind them up, Matthew. Imagine that!

message 11: by Matthieu (new)

Matthieu | 1009 comments Yes, my dad and grandpa have often told me of those days...

message 12: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Commonly referred to as "the good old days."

Here's a secret: they weren't so good.

message 13: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Church attendance is always weird on time change Sunday. We didn't go to our normal church today. Our friend is a pastor of a small church in a neighboring town and he got smart and scheduled a guest speaker for this morning, so people would make extra sure they were there. The guest speaker was my youth pastor and he baptized me and officiated at my wedding. It was AWESOME seeing him and his wife again. The service was sort of like a big family reunion because all of these people I haven't seen in years were there.

Julie | 568 comments The clock in my bathroom was never turned back in the fall.
Now it's the right time again and I have to remind myself not to look at it and calculate that it is an hour fast.

Félix (habitseven) My Blackberry is stupid. It doesn't change time at the right time. It's a pain to deal with it. How can this be?

message 16: by Matthieu (new)

Matthieu | 1009 comments I have the same problem, Larry! My BlackBerry never adjusted itself.

message 17: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) How can this be? This is the 21st Century!

We just got home from skiing today and I'm very confused. Some electronics updated themselves - I think my lappy is included in that - but some did not, strangely. Why didn't my iPod? It knew I was in Hawaii this summer and changed itself then. :( Actually, that might be a lie.

Oh, how I adore springing forward. For years I worked the Sunday shift at whatever restaurant I was at that year - I was ALWAYS late.

message 19: by Sandi (new)

Sandi (sandikal) Have you synched your iPod, Sally? I suspect that it will update the time once you synch.

message 20: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i am a watch guy and have lots of watches. i will have to reset them one by one as i wear them. we got most everything else reset i think. my ipod? i never checked

my son was late to church and he blamed it on the time change. i suspect a cleverly timed ruse to sleep in some

message 21: by Micheal (new)

Micheal | 38 comments Clever ruses are often used this time of year, but don't be the one to forget Fall Back. I was working, so I got an hour off. I almost cried. ***Tear, Tear***
