The Hobbit is a reread (from so long ago it might as well be new) and the graphic novel is the last in a series started last year. Both well worth the read.

--just got down the 3rd/final book (so far) in the series and absolutely loved them. I agree "the kindom" (the 2nd book) was a little weak...but that could be that i love John Devlin :)

Funny one of my friends just told me she liked #2 best because she didn't like Devlin. I DO like him. I'll probably get #3 from the library though instead of buying it.
