2025 Reading Challenge discussion

My personal goal this year is 75 books. I was originally going to go with 50 until I counted all the books I read last year and realized I read 59. So I had to up my goal.
Book 1 is complete. On to book 2.
Here's to 2013 and 75 books.

What were book 1 and book 2? Just curious

Book 1 was Mr Penumbras 24 Hour Book Store. Book2, was Major Pettigrews Last Stand. Book 3 which I didn't even mention was The Pillars of The Earth. I obviously need to update.
Do you have any good suggestions?

I have heard Gone Girl is good. That is on my list to read this year. Right now Im in the middle of A Game of Thrones. I have books 1-5. They will probably take me quite a while to read but book 1 is pretty good if you can get over the size!

I read Gone Girl. It's good. I'm curious to know what you think. Last year I tackled the Game of Thrones books. Not the easiest books to read, but they are really good. Plus after finishing them you have such a feeling of accomplishment.
