Predestined shapeshifters?!? Well what if you are allergic to cats, hrmmm. Anywhooo, what do you think of the idea that is introduced about shapeshifters? What about the kinds of pre-destined?

Predestined?? It seemed a little odd but then I think, why not predestined. Its a fated type of thing...Your DNA will come out the way it is meant to.

Too me, it wasn't that different from other story universes where the shifters all come from one clan... cat, wolf, etc. The thing that threw me about these shifters is the "multi" who can be anything BUT cat or dog. I mean, if I can turn into anything, why not a big saber tooth tiger or a cute little poodle? Found that a little "designer"-y.

I am with ya Davinci it seems that predestinated shifters are a common thing in other paranormal books. However as a person who sometimes fights the whole fated reason thing at times, this annoyed me. Out of all of them I would like the multi, I love the whole dog and cat thing but man that would get boring to me. The same shifting thing all the time. The idea is cool thing but I can see the parts where the fated part would drive a person nuts.

Imagine being able to shift into something that could fly... then being able to shift into something that could tunnel or burrow. You'd never get bored with your surroundings and virtually no destination would be out of reach!
