Arranged mating's?!? What are your thoughts about Cara's discovery? Can you see both sides of the argument? What about the less than upfront approach that occurred?

I can see both sides of this. Mating is pretty serious especially with the branding and the poison touch if someone else tries to touch the mate. I think Talen should have been up front with the intentions. While he truly did care for her if there may have been some history to their mating. If I found something like that after coming into a situation like this, I would be hurt about it. I would definitely question whether the feelings were true or not or whether I was part of some bigger plan.

Talen's lack of communication, all-around, really irritated me. And the fact that Cara, for the most part, just kinda took it. Until the end, (view spoiler)[when she nearly gets infected because of her brashness... (hide spoiler)] which was completely fueled by Talen's stubbornness!

The arranged mating thing... I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm just glad none of the Kayrs ones are arranged. Except I think there might be one coming up in a few books, but with who the hero is, it's guaranteed to be a page-turner!
