I was wondering if you had a favorite book or sub-series in the Shannara universe? Which was that most fun for you to write?

Has there been a time where you would have liked to see certain characters go a different way then they have in the finished work?
and who would you choose as your favourite characters heroes and villains from the entire Shannara universe?

How do you organize your plots for multi-volume stories?

I was wondering why Terry Decided to include rape in his writing. I had never picked up on that before until the character of Cinnaminson and it really made me sad. Was it really necessary to bring that into the world of Shannara?

I've never read any of the Shannara series. However, I thought that the Magic Kingdom series was a lot of fun and I really liked The Word and the Void series. If I were to jump into Shannara, where should I start?
