Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

I've read a couple of books in a what I think is a YA series.

A young boy, living in a camp for disturbed boys, run by an ex football player (I think) raises the dead as he walks past a cemetery. He makes friends with a vampire princess, a werewolf, a girl he goes to school with, and eventually with a boy who shares his cabin.

I loved these books, but can't for the life of me remember the titles or the author? Anyone able to help?

This sounds like Gena Showalter's Intertwined.
