Haha, I can just imagine you driing along, talking to yourself about fictional characters. LOL
I really loved Lee's vulnerability too, how he trusted Shaw with his life. Amazing.
Even the crying didn't bother me, because it was always so justified and sweet.

Well modest maybe, but that is the only description so I went with it.
Plus when are hot guys ever modest?

You know me so well!

What's happening where you are in the book? Have you met Lee's parents yet? :)

OMG Lee parents?
Need to go read, I get too distracted on GR!

What am I on about, I'm on 75%, I read some before work this morning:)

I usually don't mind pain, torture and angst, but I also want the sweet and nice. I feel like this book had too much of the first and not enough of the last. I mean it did end well but I think I still needed more Shaw and Lee together, more moments to really understand their relationship after the island.
There was a point halfway through the book where I stopped and questioned, WTH am I reading?...it felt it was not going anywhere and really do I want to spend my time reading about a man being tortured and raped? Anyway, it did get better...

I was happy with the ending though and it was enough for me. I would have probably started to get bored:)

What I was saying ealier about his parents... It was horrible when his mother screamed when she saw him come out of the bathroom :(
I was so happy when he decided to tell them everything. I think it would have helped.
I love Shaw and his dog too :)

And the family portrait hanging above the bed when they were about to have sex. LOL
What are you guys going to read next then?
Are you finishing Feral Sins, Giorgia? :)
Have you both had a good day?
It's snowing like crazy here and I am still supposed to have a driving lesson in the morning. Shitting myself a little, but hey it's good practice I guess. LOL

I'm gonna finish two other books that I'm nearly done with this weekend. Then I'm not really sure what to read next!
Not a bad day though just looking forward to the weekend so I can do what I like, instead of being chained to to chair for 8 hours!
Snow predicted here tomorrow morning and supposed to be heavy, yippee, I LOVE SNOW!

It snow here a few days ago...ok not sure you can define 1/4 inch snow but still.
Had a very good day! Didn't go to work...So I'll tell you a story because this really made my day today!
This morning I volunteer to be a judge in a science project competition for the local high school. So I talked to each of the kids about their projects, asked tons of questions etc. So I asked this kid (freshman)
me: why did you decide to work on this project topic? (light waves)
kid: Well, I wanted to work on 'dark' but my teachers didn't let me.
So I must have looked confused because he goes on.
kid: 'I think it's important that we study 'darkness', you know how people think that nothing it's faster then light, well dark is always before light so it is faster, and that is relevant for intergalactic travel.
So at this point I can hardly contained my smile as I realized the kid is totally serious. As I encourage him to go on, he explained to me that last year he work on magnetic shield, for 'starships' but that project didn't worked out!!!
I loved him, so much enthusiasm. Made my day!!!

Once you finish those two books, Em you'll know what you're in the mood for next. Then you can decide. That's what I do :)
Haha. How old was he? (Freshman means nothing to me. I'm rubbish. LOL)
So glad you're enjoying Feral Sins :)

Feral sins is awesome! They just discovered they are true mates! Love it, and it was really hot!!!
Freshman is the first year of high school, the kid was no more then 13 or 14. I just love young kids get so enthusiastic about science!

Ahhh, okay. That makes sense. LOL
They can be so funny :)
I am reading

Hope your other books are going well, Em :)

Grrrr, it snowed here but didn't settle and I had to go to work, was hoping I'd be snowed it:) Lucky you Steph!
I love the sound of that kid Giorgia, he sounds a bit like me at that age, I was off with the faeries and my imagination was always running riot, it does now to a certain extent! I'd be proud to have him as a son:))
Giorgia, 'I will' read Feral Sins at some stage:)
What's our next buddy, is it Evenfall, at the beginning of Feb? Is that what we planned, I can't be bothered to grab the calender:)

Yeah. Feb we said.
I just looked on my Kindle and could not believe it. They are even longer that SF! I didn't know that was possible. We're in for the long-haul here ladies. LOL

I had heard that there are a million words or something...haha! OMG!
Plans for the weekend. Well I'm going to the travel agents tomorrow as I'm hoping to go to Rome for 4 days in the summer, so we're checking out the prices! I've always wanted to go to Italy so am a bit excited:D
What about you?

Yeah, it's crazy. But I'm so glad to be reading them with you both :)
Omg, really? That sounds amazing. So jealous. LOL
Nothing much really, me and the kids usually just end up staying home. Once I can drive it'll be a lot better. But I get loads of reading done. LOL

Rome! Yaehhh, I love Rome, my BFF lives in Rome we try to get together at least couple of times a year. You’ll love it!
My weekend is booked as always. Kid gymnastic, kid birthday party and a playdate at the zoo. But I plan to do lots of reading in between. Monday is a holiday and is pretty free right now, which translate in cleaning and cooking, bleah!! I need to carve some time out for girls time!!

I can't wait for Rome, really excited, I love wandering around and seeing the sites and taking it all in:)
I've just chosen the next book for my challenge and its Change of Heart. I mentioned that I wanted to read a shifter book and this is it! Yippee!

But these books, (the files) are longer for some reason. Anyhoo, they're long. LOL
Wow, sounds like a busy time.
You certainly should... my friend (a nurse) got a promotion the other day so we're going out to celebrate on the 5th. I cannot wait.
I haven't been out with the girls for months :(

Who do you think the guy in the cover is supposed to be? Certainly not Lee, and I don't think he resemble Shaw either.
