I don't care for horror either, but you would be surprised at the selection that is out there that technically falls under that category. The Canterville Ghost that we read recently, for example, falls under that heading, but it's a short story and more humorous than scary. So, you may still find a choice that you would like to read. But even one you like doesn't get chosen, you can always skip that month or read something else, we just won't have a group thread for it. None of the books are required of course, so you may just have a month to catch up on other things.

Do the folks interested in certain genres break off into subgroups? Example: I'm not interested in Science Fiction or Horror. Is there a book each month for each genre?
