Australian Women Writers Challenge discussion

Hi everyone,

I am participating in the AWW 2013 challenge, and will be attempting to read 10 books (as part of my overall reading challenge for 2013 of 26 books).

I've been searching around in the bookshelf, trying to find books that aren't romance (or that don't have romance as a major theme) and I'm having a hard time- so if you have a suggestion for me, I'd be most grateful!

Contemporary romance doesn't really appeal to me for some reason, but of course I am open to trying a book, quite a few of my favourite books are not what I would have selected for myself, so if you have a book you love, please feel free to attempt to win me over ;)
