No protests till now. Prince... Usually we don't find that type if protests here. I thot that was the case in TM also. That protest was soo " unlike" TM. Really wondered why such things happen in a Dravida culture

പേപ്പര്‍ ലോഡ്ജ്"കര്‍ണ്ണന്‍ മഹാരാജ് എന്ന മറുനാടന്‍ മലയാളി, താന്‍ പഠിച്ചിരുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഒരു നഗരത്തില്‍ പത്തു വര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ശേഷം തിരിച്ചെത്തുന്നതില്‍ നിന്നാണ് കഥയുടെ ആരംഭം. അതും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു പരാതിയുമായി. ' പഠനകാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ കാലയളവില്‍ തന്നെത്തന്നെ അവിടെ നഷടപ്പെട്ടു പോയി' എന്നാണു ആടെഹത്തിന്റെ പരാതി. ഈ പരാതിയുടെ അതെ സ്വഭാവമുള്ള മറ്റൊരു പരാതി കൂടി പോലീസുകാരന്റെ ഓര്‍മ്മയില്‍ തെളിയുകയാണ് അപ്പൊ. ഏതാണ് പത്ത് വര്ഷം മുന്‍പ് ലഭിച്ച ആ പരാതിയില്‍ നടക്കാന്‍ പോകുന്ന ഒരു കൊലപാതകം തടയണം എന്നായിരുന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
കര്‍ണ്ണന്‍ മഹാരാജിന്റെ പഠനകാലവും അന്നത്തെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ജീവിതത്തിനെ സ്വാധീനിച്ചിരുന്ന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളുടെയും മനോഹരമായ ഒരു അവതരണമാണ് ഈ നോവല്‍. ഇതിലെ പേപ്പര്‍ ലോഡ്ജ് എന്നാല്‍ ആ നഗരത്തിലെ സാമൂഹ്യ സാംസ്കാരിക രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുടെ താമസസ്ഥലം എന്ന് വേണമെങ്കില്‍ പറയാം. ഒരു അടിയന്തിരാവസ്ഥ പോലും പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെടാന്‍ തക്ക ചിന്തകളും മറ്റും ഉരുത്തിരിഞ്ഞു വരുന്ന സങ്കേതം.......
കൂടുതല്‍ എഴുതണം എന്നുണ്ട്....സമയമില്ല....പിന്നെയാകാം.
