If the Tigers weren't so FREAKIN' MEDIOCRE, maybe I'd pay more attention to the Ivy conference...! On the other hand, Cornell is ridiculous!
Er. I don't know enough to tell whether it counts for anything beyond the west coast, but I try to keep up with Pac-10? I'm more into football than basketball, but it's the same for both: Cal is always so hopeful and always so disappointing. As I type, we're losing to 6th-seeded USC (though I guess it IS only the 1st quarter). We were ranked 3rd, but in my experience, that's not saying much as we've lost many games to lower-ranked teams.

79-75, SC won. I understood when it was football, but basketball, too? T_TI tried not to get my hopes up, but I still feel sad.

i am not much of a sports enthusiast.....YEAH RIGHT !!!! i am a fanatic. baseball is my #1 sports love but i am interested in them all. i would def watch jousting but only if they let me try. i would sooo do that
I thought the seeding show was good...should be an interesting tournament. One of my friends from work is taking off Thursday and Friday so he can watch in the comfort of his own home.

To step away from the madness of March for a moment, I just found out that AC Milan and Chelsea are doing six expo soccer matches in the US, and one of them is in Baltimore! A couple in California, one in Atlanta, one in Mass., one in Texas. Anybody else excited?

i put two kids through Ball State University and i saw where their womens team beat Tenn for maybe the biggest upset ever in womens NCAA basketballthat is about as in to the tournament as i get
I think the women's tournament should be offset from the men's. It's pretty phenomenal -- UConn, in particular, of course -- and deserves more press than it gets in the shadow of its big brother.

Tennessee's women are already out! Pat Summitt is crazy in a good way. I heard she freaked out on her players and threatened to make them find their way home from away games on their own.
