Let's start our group first ever reading challenge!!!


Duration: 1-28 February
Rule:
- The requirement for February is: Rock Star
- Read a book for this challenge that fits the requirement
- The main character has to be a rock star, musician or in a band.

I know its not Feb yet but I saw this and became interested. does the book just have to involve a rockstar?

The lead character Luke is a lead singer in a band called infinity ...... Does it count :p .....

The challenge is going to start from Feb 1, so the book you finish now doesn't not count :D

How To Kill A Rockstar was awesome!!! I highly recommend it! A great love story with so many crazy ups and downs and twists and turns! One of those books you cannot put down!

Does it have to be the main character or, like a good-girl-falls-in-love-with-bad-boy-rock-star. is that acceptable. What about changing POVs?

That's acceptable :) As long as the main character is a rocker :D Multiple POVs is also ok.

I read the Unmaking of Hunter Kennedy this summer but I didn't want to re read it it was good and all but I wanted to read something different also already read breathe

I just started and finished Breathe by Abbi Glines today and it was great. Such a great story but it leaves you wanting more. I definitely would be interested if a sequel was to come out. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good rockstar read for the challenge.

Breathe is the first in a 5 book series. Books 2, 3, and 4 are already out!

I looked them up but I see no mention of Jax and Sadie. I wanted thier story to continue.

I've only read 2 and 3, but I really liked them. I recently bought Breathe, so I'm going to read it, 2 and 3 again, and then 4!

Have you heard when book 4 is going to be released?

Ok so I just finished "Metamorphosis" and it was amazing. I rank it up there with Beautiful Disaster for me. Two girls go off to college and read all these steamy YA romance books and fall in love with boys like everyone. They reference Travis, Kellan, Christian and watch movies and put on thier "Team Edward" shirts lol. its great. And both Ash and Rat are great examples of the fantasy book boyfriend. Rat is in a band and I HIGHLY recommend it!

Reading Guitar Notes and it is so fun, love the fresh way that the relationship between Tripp and Lyla evolves...Tripp is a guitar player and Lyla is an extremely talented cello player, so the main characters are both musicians

Just finished (4 stars)

Micha is in a band, so I think it fits. It's a great book. Very intense. Not suitable for younger readers, though, since the content is pretty steamy.
