YA seems to be a pretty popular genre these days and I always wonder how an author gets in the mind-set to write a realistic 15-19 year old. Is it difficult? I barely remember what being a teen was like. So, I can only imagine how hard it would be to try stepping back into that roll to write an entire novel!
