Hubert | 63 comments Starting a discussion - only one Kingsolver novel, The Poisonwood Bible, is on the 1001 list. Is this a slight? Should there be more of her novels on the list?

Elizabeth (Alaska) I quite enjoyed Poisonwood, but having read some others, that one is enough. I don't think the others I've read have the same heft.

Hubert | 63 comments I'm reading the recent release (Flight Behavior) and wondering how that fares with the others.

Elizabeth (Alaska) I haven't read that one. I have read others, including her Orange Prize winner, The Lacuna, which had me deciding not to read any of hers published after that. I do have an earlier one, Animal Dreams on my shelf, but it will be the last of hers I'll read.

Dee (deinonychus) | 243 comments The Poisonwood Bible is brilliant, and a worthy list inclusion. I did enjoy The Lacuna, which is the only other one I've read, but it's not up to the same standard.
