Vadigor | 19 comments When a book is announced and an ISBN number is registered for it but it is ultimately not published, how should we treat this book on GR? Obviously it shouldn't be deleted, but do we list this in the description? Should we add a librarian note? Should the book be removed from a series it's a part of?

This is in regards to the seventh volume of Maria Holic, Maria Holic Volume 7, which was published by Tokyopop. As the publisher abandoned its American activities, this volume was never released. Note that the original Japanese edition is missing from GR.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments Hmm, I'm not an authority, but given that one of GR's mission is to enable people to find books, adding that sort of information to the description field would be helpful if you were looking for the book and wondering whether it had been published. That is personal though, so wait on one of the PTB to say :)

Yes, a note in the description is good. Here's an example (although I'm still hoping that one might get published some day).
