Sean MacUisdin | 61 comments Good day, all,

I've decided to include some interviews on my blog, The Island Scrivener. To that end, for anyone interested in an author interview, I submit the following questions to you:

1. Tell us a bit about yourself. Included where you were born, childhood influences and more modern muses that coax/pummel the inner writer out of you.

2. What is your preferred genre and what is it that has inspired you to work in it?

3. Tell us about one of your books - start with the opening sentence, then pitch it, and end with some insight as to what has motivated you to write it - i.e. themes, characters etc.

4. What's the next project and what is your writing process to produce it?

5. Marketing, marketing, marketing - what is your strategy here to ensure that this becomes your day job?

As well, if you wish, please include a photo of yourself, and a book cover/video/media. Don't forget the links for your book, please.

Please keep it as PG13 and below as possible so that it's Safe For Work (no swearing, erotica excerpts, drug use - the stuff we watch after the kids go to bed in other words.) Thanks.

My email is [email protected] - send your answers, media, and links to me there, please.

When I post the interview, I will contact you. Please copy and paste the interview to your blog as well as the link to mine. I will also send it out on FB, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc for max exposure.

Let's see how this works out, shall we?

I was fighting the urge to use 'weaving' in the interview - too much of a pun, maybe. I failed in the end. :)
