Amy (wayfaringpanda) | 3 comments Saw this post (http://www.tor.com/blogs/2013/01/slee...) and it reminded me of a question I asked at the Vaginal Fantasy Panel at Dragon*Con. I had wanted to know then when the panel would feature a book that was something other than the typical male-female relationship that we've seen thus far (barring Cthulhurotica).

There's some good recommendations if you follow the link, but I was wondering if anyone else had good ones? Not just lesbian, but anything under the spectrum!

Corvus Alyse (corvusalyse) | 54 comments Are you interested in anything specific? Homo-erotica, mixed orientations, trans-erotica? Just a few examples...

I'm not just asking for me - I couldn't find another thread on the topic, so I figured I'd start one, make it a resource for anyone else who wanted to know. So - Any of the above!

Corvus Alyse (corvusalyse) | 54 comments Well, there is a group on Goodreads, specializing in M/M Romance. It is a private group, so one would need to request membership. Here's the link:

I don't think we've had a thread on it, but there are a few books that have been recommended by members on our glbt-romance bookshelf: http://www.goodreads.com/group/booksh...

Also, I'm going to move this thread down to the Book Discussion & Recommendations folder!

Tonks | 10 comments There was also a thread a while back: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...

Jon | 91 comments I can suggest Lunatic Fringe, not sure I agree with the authors point of view, but the books a fun read.

message 9: by Cátia (new)

Cátia Schubert | 5 comments well the only one i ever read (and loved, actually came to be one of my favorite books) is Fingersmith. Victorian era i guess, to female leads and amazing story. Not really that erotic I guess, but those are 560 pages of pure awesomeness

message 10: by Sara (new)

Sara (medusasmirror) | 34 comments I don't know if anyone has read Swordspoint, but it's a beautiful m/m story in a fantasy style setting. Not super erotic, I don't know for sure that there are naughty times actually (it's been a while since I read it), but like Cátia said - pure awesomeness.

Nik (lunakaos) | 165 comments I actually really enjoyed Zombie Rain by Zach Sweets zombie rain.... well until the Zombie King turned up then everything got a bit too wierd and far fetched for me. Its a cute short story though

message 12: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (shaeon) Glad to see a current discussion on this. I'm interested in F/F romance and genre, and I'm familiar with Sarah Waters of course and maybe a little spoiled by the high quality of her writing. On the older thread that was linked by Tonks it was noted that there's some bad LGBT writing out there - too true!

message 13: by Serendi (new)

Serendi Dear Author (dearauthor.com) reviews all sorts of romance novels. Haven't been on there in a year or two, but Sarah Franzen (I think) reviewed M/M, someone else had just started reviewing F/F (don't remember who).

Susan | 1 comments Amy wrote.... Try one of my favorite authors, Connie Bailey. She write guy/guy romance... it's hot, sweet and sexy. Very enjoyable!
