Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments While I really love the white scroll trays on my desk and also the white porcelain pen cup with painted on blue leaves, neither would qualify as my favorite. Close, but nope...

A friend of mine went to Paris about 15 years ago with her then-boyfriend. We talked for days and days leading up to the actual vacation about how dreamy it would be and I gave her $40 to find a decent souvenir or two for me.

She came back with a gargoyle figurine.

He's sat on my desk at every single job I've had since she gave him to me. I like to think of him as my good luck charm. Also, I like to think he protects me from crappy projects.

Susan | 6406 comments I never had anything very cool on my desk. I did cut out an ad from a magazine and taped it the edge of my desk. It would help out my mood and I think it is funny it is still there. It says, "smells like a winner".

That gargoyle is great.

Feels like resin - he does NOT crack or break. He's certainly not delicate. He's not lightweight for his size, either.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Look at your peacocks! I love your little critters, Barb. :)

Susan | 6406 comments Cute! Is that one peacock a note holder, too?

Phil | 11837 comments The only desk I have is in the workshop. Currently the only thing on it is my son's rock polisher, churning away, exposing beauty.
