Romance Readers Reading Challenges discussion

I read this book in my younger years. It was one of the first romance reads for me and now I can't for the life of me remember the title or author. I am hoping someone out there might be able to help me...


The book started off with the characters in their teens. They were sneaking off to meet and falling in love.. She was being abused by her father/step-father/somone along that line and became pregnant. She/he/they breaks it off fighting and on the way home the heroine falls off her horse and loses the baby. Fast forward and of course they meet as adults and finally fall back in love.

Not much to go on :(
