Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I chose mythology for our weekly theme because I don't recall us ever using it before.

Here are some links to help you get started. Don't worry, if you aren't a mythology fan, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to see some of the books on these list.

message 5: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I hope that everyone likes this theme because they can read something contemporary or a classic such as The Odyssey. I'm excited to see what people choose.

message 13: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments Trisha, some of the lists have incorrectly had books included in the category listed, so the Listopia lists aren't full proof.

Hope you find a good one that you're happy with! I'm still unsure what I'm going to read. The search is on! Lol

Not sure, but it is supposed to be a fairy tale retelling book.

message 19: by Trisha, lives on coffee (new)

Trisha | 30284 comments I figured it wouldn't work, but all the mythology lists have retelling of fairy tales in them.

Gisbelle | 25787 comments changed my pick to The Year of the Beasts by Cecil Castellucci (still reading)

message 26: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments finished my pick! This book is more confusing than I can say. It alternates btw novel and graphic novel every other chapter. I still have no idea how the novel and graphic novel relate to one another... lol.

message 27: by Kathy (new)

Kathy | 7669 comments Half-Blood (Covenant, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout done 1/31 (4 stars)

Reminded me of Vampire Academy only instead of with vamps it was demi-gods, it didn't bother me that they were similar and I really liked it.
