2. The Red Tent
Allison, I agree that it might just be easier to skip the nominations and go straight to the voting at least when we are not doing a theme month (like this past February
Just PLEASE nominate one of the 40 books (out of 52) on the list that I already own! I can't fathom purchasing more right now, and 30 of those are unread!
Okay, sorry... I'll look at the list and get back to you.

Dang! Why do I always want the ones no one else nominates!
Sorry I keep getting all chatty on this thread, Alison. Soooo annoying of me!

2. The Lovely Bones
ps. and I agree with you Michelle, I can't afford to buy any more books, and not just because of the money, but also because I have so many books laying on my shelves I would feel bad getting more and more and not reading the ones I have (of course I wouldn't even dare resolving not to buy any more new books until I have read all the old ones, because that would be impossible)
ps2: if you were chatty Michelle, then what was I? writing a little novel here..sorry! :-)

2. The Song of Names, Norman Lebrecht.

Nominate TWO MODERN selections from the OFFICIAL NOMINATIONS LIST (Under NOMINATIONS & VOTING, see the thread "Nomination Lists"). Nominations will end at Midnight on 3/21/09. Thanks! :)
Heads Up: Last summer, the RGBC only chose one selection for the months June, July, and August. We chose one LONG book to read over the busy summer months. (Namely, The Count of Monte Cristo). It is my assumption that we will continue this tradition for Summer '09. SO, that means this could be our last month of nominating for one book/month for a few months. Just throwing that out there. :)
