Cozy Mystery Corner discussion

Am looking forward to the February reads but am having a heck of a time finding Just Desserts. Kobo doesn't have it. Both the local libraries don't have it. Closest thing I can find (I am in Canada) is from Amazon and it lists it at $42 LOL I am sure that is some kind of error. Anyone know of a good place to purchase ebooks that has it?? Thanks for any suggestions you can give me!!

My library doesn't have it either. I'm going to try an ILL. What really threw me is my library has by Mary Daheim :)

I have tried Barnes and Nobles and it says it is currently unavailable. The other site that Iamabibliophile suggested has some although I am confused as to why it would offer used paperbacks at prices all the way up to $225 LOL The cheapest is $8 plus shipping/handling to Canada...not sure, will have to give this one some consideration. At any rate, thank you all for the help...I do appreciate it!

LOL I found quite a few in my search, unfortunately they were all cookbooks :-S

I just looked on Ebay ..thanks for the suggestion Kim...but no luck there. Plenty of books by the same author but not that one.

I have a couple of other options that I could as a substitute for this one, but I'll wait till one of the group mods weighs in on the subject :)

So far it looks like Laura and I are the only ones who can't get it. I can get the other one, and I know I'm lucky to get one choice read. If others start to say they can't find it, then I'll ask you to change it.

Can we get an idea of who plans to read and discuss it? If you could post here, that would be great!

I haven't been able to get it either. I've checked all around and the only ones out there are beyond my price limit. I've gotten the other book on hold at my library so I will get to read that one!

I wondered if the McKevett book might be hard for some to find. Since this is kind of a "mid-list" series some of the early books are harder to find. I had them all, but sold them on eBay a year or 2 ago.

I have a copy coming on interlibrary loan. Thankful the resource is there or I couldn't read a lot of the monthly books.

amazon had used copies for $3 and change however with shipping you will probably spend $7 or $8 total

I have both books from the library already and will get started as soon as I finish up what I'm currently reading.

Just out of curiosity (because I'm avoiding the library) I checked availability of the January and February reads and of the 4 books my libraries have NONE of them LOL That's sad :(

It is, but because these books are up to 20 years old, out of print, and probably not in active circulation, libraries pulled them from the shelves after their useful "life." They do that with ebooks as well, I think.

Yep, I knew they did that but I was just curious to see if possibly they might still be available LOL
