for me its all about working thru my TBR, but my favorites this month have been my re-read of BDB; ; &

My only 5 star read this month was . It just really appealed to me :)

was heading for 5 stars but the second half fell a bit short for me. It fell into the trap of over-explanation I think. Having said that, the narrator, Khristine Hvam, is outstanding! The absolute best I have ever encountered :)

Hahaha yeah...January kicked off the new year with a bang with all of these new series I'd been wanting to read.

so far the set of books that really neiled me are the BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD....

Hands down the best book I've read this month. Hell, it's the best book I've read in a few months. BTW, I've got it available to lend on kindle, if anybody's interested! M/M

I've been eyeing that one off for a while, Katie. But I'm saving it for a military category :)

Questian - I think the second BDB book was my fav of the series :)

I liked Passion and Purity: Learning to Bring Your Love Life Under Christ's Control, On the Island, and The House on Tradd Street.

NayNay, I read Dear Cupid as well this month, and I loved it.

My favorite reads this month are:

I was surprised that I fell in love with the first Jack Reacher book, the Killing Floor by Lee Child.



It's romantic reading in a guy kinda way, hmm, how to explain... Reacher falls in love with a small-town police officer named Roscoe. He loves her but...

Now picture Tom Cruise as Reacher, if he strikes your fancy, and it's awesome, imho.

My husband has all the books in the series and now I know why. Reacher is totally cool, smart and almost untouchable.

Loved it! and I apologize to my family for abandoning them for a few days in January.

Loved all that I read this month. Also finding new authors I enjoy and will read more from.

My top five are:

The Redhead Revealed
Up to Me
Beneath This Man

I only read two 5-star books this month.
