No, when Frank mentioned them doing/not doing things he meant playing checkers with Blackjack ;) Of course that's what they thought! The WORLD is ENDING, they're two teenagers in love alone in a stable all night, what else do you expect?

What else would they be talking about? I'm not saying I think that these stories should contain sexual content in the least, but I do think that from the textual evidence it's safe to say that the other characters were scandalized
