Maximum Ride...ROCKS! discussion

i'm getting Cirque du Freak out from the library today, i think. is it good???? someone recommended it to me.

i've heard they're really good. my brother didnt like it, but he's one of those weirdos who dont really like to read. *shrugs* guess we're not actually related afterall, lol :P

I really liked it! A ton! It's creepy, has vampires but there's also a lot of unexpected twists you'd almost never see coming.

i heard that too, and i think they need an actress, not a singer. srry, but if actors and actresses *cough kristen stewart cough robert pattinson cough* can't act, then i dont think singers can :P

can any one picture dakota fanning as max? maybe with the haircut she gets in book 2 i think? just something my mate suggested.

okay, so i saw the newer covers of the first set of books today (yeah, just saw them TODAY lol) and max was a freaking BLONDE!!! NO!!!! i will admit, patterson said she was blonde once or twice, but i swear on everything i hold dear that he said she was a brunette in (i think) Max. one of them, i know that much. and ive always pictured her as a brunette. who else is with me? lol

hm...well when i first read MR: The Angel Experiment it was a newer cover so i've thought of her as having blond hair more than brown. idk. sometimes i see her w/ brown...lolz. it varies for me, i think ;)

okay, i pulled book one off the shelf today at the library and read the first few chapters. not only does he not give max a hair color, but he fails to describe any of them at all! nudge is eleven and has brown eyes, gazzy's got blue eyes, iggy is tall and pale, angel's got curly blonde hair, and fang's dark. NOTHING about max, NOTHING about nudge being african american. both kinda important things for picturing a person, in my mind. ya know?

I know! I had A big problem with that when i first began to read the book . me and my sisters read the at the same time ( that was fun ) because we get to discuss the book and give our point of views. and way back to the topics I read the first book super quick and fell in love followed by the others which i read in like a day ( seriously ) but was still confused about there looks. on the cover of angel experiment max is a brunett then when they get make overs she's a blonde, wait a minute now james patterson. Maybe he had a eurka and decide that max's hair should be blonde.

except later in max, he wrote that she was brunette. i know this cuz i remember freaking out about it, being all like "i knew it!"

lol, nice. yeah, i remember because i started thinking she was brunette, then saw the cover of final warning (where she is a freaking BLONDE!!!!) and it bugged the living daylights out of me, and then read in max that she was brunette. i actually got in trouble for reading fianl warning in lit class one day. wasnt even reading it then, either. just glaring at the cover :P

I was so confused and made when i saw the cover of angel experiment, then i saw... wait a minute the Manga is new why does she have blonde hair!!!! ughhhhhhh. come on james patterson.

cuz patterson is a loser who cant even remember a character's hair color. and i got in trouble because i "wasnt paying attention." i dont even remember exactly why the teacher yelled at me, but... *shrugs* no big deal, it wasnt major trouble, more like a "well maybe you shouldnt read so much in class" kind of thing.

no snow it's total worth it. lol jk. anyway I say we should request a press conference to settle this issue. jk about that to.
