Hello, my name is Marco and fell in love with MacDonald's books, I read-at the back of the north wind and the golden key. I am here today to know your opinions on the novel Lilith, I miss only 10 pages to finish it. I have a myriad of questions to ask and I hope you can enlighten me. According to your view, what is the theological significance of the book? I understand concepts such as sin and redemption but is there something else I'm missing? Who do you think is Mara and what function she performs in a religious perspective? In some cases the book suggests that she is the wife of Lot, in one case the novel suggests the name of Mary Magdalene. What do you think of the figure of Lilith and of the love that Mr. Vane feels for her, initially? Thanks again...
