Personality: Stubborn, snarky, nice (sometimes), likes to lead, has trouble when it comes to school.

History: Ethan lives with his parents and little sister in a small town. He's been on the varsity basketball team since he was a freshman and plays football (running back) in the off-season. Basketball, though, is his favorite sport and a scholarship from playing is the only way he'll end up in college because his grades are so bad.

callie parked her beat up truck infront of the small school

Ethan slammed his locker shut as he heard his name over the loudspeakers, calling him down to the office. He opened the office door and sat at the table across from the principal. The principal glared at him. "You're failing half your classes, Mr. Johnson." Ethan shrugged, wanting to get out of there more than anything.

callie knocked on the principals door.
"your lucky we have a new student. or youd be in for it."he grumbled "come in"he said and callie came in

Ethan grabbed his backpack and stood up quickly. "Thanks," he muttered to the girl as he brushed past her into the hall. He had to admit that the girl he walked by was pretty, but no new, awkward student was worth his time.

the girl rolled her eyes. and sat infrotn of mr jhonson
"you didnt tell me there was to basketball team."she said

Ethan decided to skip first hour as the bell rang and sat in the cafeteria instead. He tapped his finger on the table impatiently. He had practice after school today, which was the only thing he was looking forward to.

callie stormed out. she decided to skip and she started shooting in the gym. swishing threepointers easily

Ethan watched the girl leave and curiously got up, following her down the hall to the gym. He leaned against the wall as he watched her. She was definitely really good- better than most of the guys on the basketball team. Too bad there was no girls team. Her talent was worthy of a scholarship.

Callie got low and focassd on dribbling left hands . Her routine went like this
1) 10 three point
2) 100 dribbles left hand then right
3) layups
4)other

Ethan finally decided to speak up. "Impressive." He pushed himself off the wall and stepped onto the gym floor. "How long have you been playing? You're good."

callie jumped. she blushed
"thanks.umm scince i was five"

"Long time," Ethan said with a nod of approval. "What brings you to this school, of all places?" It was a rather small town with few business opportunities or anything else, really. The school system wasn't very great and the teachers were extremely strict.

callie shrugged
"i dont decide it. my mom moved us here"she said

"Well, there's not much to do here." The people in the community were nice, but honestly the only good thing about the school itself was its athletic programs. Half of the school's funding went to football, basketball, and soccer. No one objected to this, though. Many even supported it. The little town was proud of its athletes and wanted to see them succeed.

calie shrugged
"theres a basketball and a hoop. i can entertain myself

"Is that all you do?" Ethan tried to hide the smile that threatened to appear on his face. She would definitely be the type of girl to focus on sports and nothing else. "Because if that's true, you won't make many friends."

callie laughed.
"im not staying long. im going to collage as soon as i can.i dont need distractions. but some of my friends from summer camps live here so i already do"

"You're a senior too?" She didn't look like she would be. "Anyways, the school year is only halfway over. You're going nowhere fast." He was kind of curious where she would be going to college. He had been offered scholarships to Ole Miss and NC State.

callie shrugged
"im turning 18 soon. ive set some stuff up with this schoo. my old school didnt have summer so im already way ahead of you guys."she said

"But there's only a few months of school left here. If you're 'way ahead of us' then you should have graduated already. From your old school." Ethan looked at her, making a questioning face.

callie shook her head
"it was ending a month before we left so technacly i didnt finish"

"That sucks. Now you have to re-learn the curriculum." He looked at the basketball in her hands. "Where are you headed when you graduate?"

"michigan offered me full ride and so did central"
