Taking a break from the 1001 Books....(ran into a couple titles that were simply too depressing). So far in 2009 I have read: 1. Plantation - Dorothea Benton Frank (live in the deep south) 2. Jane Austen Book Club - K. Fowler (yeah, a guy who likes "chic lit") 3. Wind in the Willows - Graham (could not believe I had not read this before) 4. Bare Bones - K. Reichs (watch the "Bones" tv show every week) 5. Bones to Ashes - K. Reichs 6. The Eyre Affair - J. Fforde (LOVE THESE) 7. Lost in a Good Book - J. Fforde (I'm a big book geek) 8. Well of Lost Plots - J. Fforde 9. Dr. Who - Forever Autumn - M. Morris (I'm a BBC/SciFi geek too:))
I am falling behind, but hope to reach 100 by the end of the year. Would be great to double that as my to-be-read shelf will soon be collapsing under its own weight if I don't stop buying more than I can read. LOL.
