The Creating Generation discussion

Aryll stepped into the library with a book tucked beneath her arm. Her hair was tucked back in a messy braid, but strands escaped, the breeze from outside whipping them back and forth.

Aryll walked past Eden without really noticing her, then stopped as she realized that that was the shelf with her name on it. Oh... my... she thought, having not quite grasped the fact that people actually read her books. The familiar cover of Reign of the Elven popped out at her.

Aryll jumped at the noise of the crash. "Oh, my, are you alright?" she asked, picking up her book.

Aryll smiled warmly. "You are quite welcome," she replied. The girl was lovely, and looked just as much a reader as herself.
"Eden Light... You didn't, perhaps, write The Song of the Mist, did you?" Her eyes widened. "Oh, and I'm Aryll Shay.."

Aryll blushed, not sure what to say. "Y-your writing's incredible.." she stammered. "And, er, yeah, I suppose so.. Thought that's not entirely true. I'm most definitely not the best. And I would love to sit down for tea sometime."

"Yes! I've always adored your books." Aryll smiled shyly and laughed, lightly. "Ah, well, thank you." She brushed a stray bit of hair out of her eyes.

Aryll's eyes gleamed bright with pleasure. "Mmhmm." She straightened a book on the shelf next to her, out of habit.

Aryll smiled and nodded. "I'd love to," she replied, her voice soft.

Aryll straightened, nudging one last book back into place, and followed Eden.

Aryll smiled back and led the way to the door, opening it for Eden.

Reece Dacio opened the doors and walked in, a bag hanging from her shoulder. She took a seat at a lonely table and pulled a notebook and a pencil from her bag. She opened it to a blank, yellowed page, thinking of an idea for the next scene in her movie.

Reece shifted her gaze from the old page to the girl who had jogged into the livrary. She had outstanding red hair. Reece gave a little smile to the red-haired girl.

Reece returned the nod. "Hey," She replied. Her pencil trailed across the top of the page without Reece's eyes to follow it. Fallen Cloud, was the name of Reece's movie she was currently in the making of. It was near finishing, she just needed to add the ending scenes.

"Reece," She said, her dark eyes flashing with acknowledgment. She wore a gray t-shirt the showe off her Filipino-brown arms, and her Brazilian lips were pulled into a smile. She wore black skinny jeans, with dark bgreen, worn-out sneakers.

Reece smiled. "Ditto," She said brightly. "So what's up?"

Reece chuckled softly, "You presume correctly."

"Nothing much, really," Reece shrugged. "I'm working on finishing my movie here. All I have left to do is the script for the last scenes, and I can finally recordt it."

Reece nodded and flipped to the first page of her notebook. "This is the outline of what the movie is about. It's called Fallen Cloud. It's about this girl and her little brother in a post-apocalyptic world where they've known nothing but war in their lives. They have no parents, after their home had been raided and they had been killed by the enemy soldiers. Basically, the girl is given a chance to save her brother. The man who proposed this chance turned out to be a spy of the enemy side, and has taken te girl's brother hostage. So she goes off to save her brother, and she later finds answers as to why she and her brother are so special that the enemy side focused on killing the two of them."

Reece shrugged once more. "A few. I still need the heroine and a couple other characters."

"Well, I'd like to see your acting. Do you act at all?"

"That's cool," Reece nodded. "Are you interested in taking a part in my movie?"

"Of course!" Reece grinned.

"True, but I do need actors," Reece smiled. "How about you tryout, and I can see what you can do?"

Alice walked along the bookshelves.

Andrew speed-walked over to the adult fiction shelves, searching for the next Stephen King book.

"I'm open tomorrow at 5. PM, I mean," Reece suggested. "How about in the firest? That seems like a good place to go."

Alice overheard her talking Reese and Ezrea talking.

Andrew smiled at the girl, giving her an apology. "I'm sorry, completely my fault! I'm in a bit of a rush!" But then he saw her hand and shook it. "I'm Andrew."

Andrew gave her a dazzling white smile, which stood out even more against his tanned face from a little too much sun when he was surfing. "I'm looking for 'Christine' at the moment. I saw it on the library's website, and they had one copy left, so I wanted to get it quick! But I guess I'll do some browsing as well," he said in a friendly way, trying not to stare at Iris' pretty pink hair and beautiful skin, but most of all, her eyes. He wondered if it was noticeable his uneasiness with the pretty girl.

Andrew kept his relaxed smile on his face. His muscles were tense with unease, but he didn't want Iris to go. The only thought that was going through his mind was don't stuff up, don't stuff up.... He shrugged then and said, "I'm a bit like that as well."

Andrew nodded, trying not to look over-enthusiastic. "Sounds great! Do you want to walk, or come in my car? I can drop you off as well, if you like?"

Andrew nervously looked at his trainers, then back at her beautiful grey eyes. "I've...um...never ridden a horse before. And I don't think it's be able to hold me..." he said uncertainly. Out of all the wild and wacky things he'd done, he had never ridden a horse, and the prospect of it was a bit nerve-racking for his usual cool and easy life. "I think I'd rather take my car, if that's alright. Meet you at the cafe?"

Andrew tried to hold back the redness that was coming to his cheeks, but didn't manage it as they went red. "Okay..." he said nervously, running his eyes over the stunning stallion, who's coat glistened.

Andrew shrugged. That didn't sound so bad. "Sounds good," he said, trying to sound confident, but his voice faltered a little at the end.

Reece grinned. "Great!" She said happily. "I've got to go now. See you there!"

"Aren't you going to get on first?" he said hesitantly, stepping closer, therefore getting closer to Iris. He hope the heavy beating of his heart wasn't audible to anyone but himself.

"Hey, I'm sorry, but I overheard you talking about making movies or something?" Alice said.

"Yeah, why?" Reece smiled at Alice.

Alice shrugged. "I was just wondering if you could use some more actors," she said.

Reece nodded. "Of course! Come see me in the forest at 5PM tomorrow!" She beamed.

"Ok!" Alice said.

Reece smiled, "'Kay, see you there! I've got to go now, bye!" She gave Ezrae and Alice a small wave and swpet out of the Library.

Alice waved back.

Andrew smiled back at Iris, took hold of the hand and pulled himself awkwardly up and onto the stallions neck. "I did it," he breathed, his smile getting even bigger!

Andrew felt himself gripping Iris' waist harder than he'd meant to, but the horse was exhilirating and a bit wild for him. He relaxed his grip as he got used to the horse's pace, eventually only holding on with one hand, while he waved the other one the passing strangers.

Andrew smiled at her, breathing in the sweet smell of her baby pink hair, and looking deep into her grey eyes.

Freya walked into the library and sighed. So many books, too little time. She went towards the young adult section when she spotted a guy reading. She smirked.
"Your reading Twilight?" She scoffed, shaking her head in disappointment.

"Not really, her main character is a Mary Sue and the vampires sparkle, what's not to hate" she explained, brushing her hair out of her face.
