Ara continued to swim several more laps, her legs kicking strongly behind her and her arms dragging her forward. Swimming was the only way she could escape these days, singing didn't help any more, it was too stressful trying to be noticed, no one really cared, she had even see some woman throw her CD in the bin as soon as she handed it over to the radio station.

Seeing the large clock that hung above the pool, Ara noticed she had been here an hour already, examining her fingers which were all shrivelled and prune like confirmed this. She sighed, Screw it, I'm not practising today, she thought carelessly, she allowed herself to float on her back, staring up to the ceiling.

Ciara | 46 comments Cecilia walked towards the pool. She wore a vintage style bikini, decorated with old birdcages, hearts and birds. She gave the girls a small smile and a quiet hello before diving into the pool, her arms outstretched, and landed gracefully in the water. She began to swim to the end of the pool, pushing all thoughts of the previous meeting out of her mind.

Ciara | 46 comments Cecilia continued to swim, ignoring the girl - if she was correct, her name was Eleaha - and grew faster, swimming strong strokes. In Malta she had been able to swim in the warm, clear water on the beaches. She missed doing that here, especially as the water wasn't half as warm.

Ciara | 46 comments Cecilia finished her laps and swiftly walked to the sauna to wind down. She stepped inside and stayed inside for a few minutes, before going to the changing rooms and getting dressed.

Cecilia took off again; her visit was relatively short, but she was short on time. She had to work on book promotion and wanted nothing more than a warm meal and to relax.

She left the pool for home.
