Books on the Nightstand discussion

If you are looking for a recommendation from this list, I would suggest Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman.

I'm actually about to do a group read of Of Human Bondage with another group here on Goodreads. But I don't have that square, though it'll certainly fit my "over 500 pages" square.

This list is overwhelming... And it frustrates me that barely 3 or 4 titles sound familiar :(

It is a fairly overwhelming list and I'm not familiar w a ton of those texts either but i recognize some really fun reads therein:


The Good Soldier by Ford Madox Ford
The Metamorphosis by Kafka

Both are on the shorter side and are pretty neat books

Of Human Bondage, The Rainbow and the Voyage Out are also neat but are heavier, longer texts.
