What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

my mom told me about a book she read years ago about kids who make friends with their reflections in the mirror this would have been in the 1960s or 1970s she read it. sorry I don`t have anymore information.

Seems like Anne of Green Gable, only that there is only one character (Anne) who imagines her reflection is her friend.

definitely not Anne of green gables. from what I gather this book is fantasy but thanks

hm.. if you'll never be able to tell us whether or not our guesses are right, maybe we should move this to 'requests for books in general' or 'possibly solved' - what do you think?

Ask your mom if the cover was a mustard/brown color with a charcoal/pencil drawing of a boy and girl standing side by side, looking at their reflections in a free-standing mirror but the reflections are dressed in different clothing.

There's a chapter (or two) in Mr. Pudgins where the children make friends with their reflection.

The reflections come out of the mirror and play tag (I think). But, the reflections are able to float, making it hard for the kids to catch them.
