North Atlantic Books | 1 comments In the final chapters of the book, Eisenstein posits that change will come not from overcoming the powers that be, but through their transformation. In the chapter called "Psychopathy," he says, "The invocation.... to validate the good-versus-evil narrative and all that comes along with it (such as the necessity of force as the primary means of changing the world) is misleading." In what ways might this be a false narrative? What are the narratives we might replace it with, and how do those play out in the world?
