So I read the book for the first time ever, and loved it!

Anyone wanna chat to me about it?

I read this in school and even though I liked it back then, I still thought of it as a so-so book. I was probably too young to appreciate it. In my mind Boo Radley became larger than life and Atticus was but a bit player.
Having re-read it recently, I can now see what the fuss is about and loved it. I have a new appreciation for Atticus

Did I understand the ending correctly? That Boo stabbed Ewell and the sheriff wanted to keep him out of it, so he said that he fell on his knife?

yes, that's correct, isn't that where they made the comparison to the mockingbird

Ah thought so! I think they made that connection earlier?
