*bell rings*"Oh finally time to go home."Seth gets out of school and walks home.

Kai was sitting on the concrete, watching the schoolyard. Always being the first one out was good. It worked. Seeing her target walking her way, she ducked behind a thick bush of tangled branches and leaves.

Seth walks past the bush and just smiles with joy.

She smiled just slightly. Today was the day. She just had to wait for the perfect moment. Turned out, it wouldn't be a terribly long wait.

Starts getting scared

Kai pressed herself silently from the bush into the woods directly behind her, keeping to the trees until she saw an opening, and stepped out as if she had just been walking home. No big deal. A knapsack was slung around her shoulder and held tightly to her side.
