Hi all,
So I'm the moderator for this discussion. I am halfway in this book, so I'm moderating as I'm reading. Therefore I'm asking you to hide spoilers or just not include them so everyone can enjoy the book.

The author, Richard Montanari, was rather new to me. I had no idea that this was already the 8th in the series. Has anyone already read some of his other work? What did you think of it, which one would you recommend to the rest of us and why?

My questions about the book to start the discussion are:
What was your initial impression of Annabelle and of Mr Marseille?
Do you like the 2 story lines? ie. The Annabelle-Mr Marseille murders and the missing kids one? (like I said, I'm only halfway)
Do you like the author's writing style?

I've finished!! I loved it, I even got more of the author's books downloaded on my kindle now :). What did you think?

I enjoyed the story of mr marseille and was keen to make the links between the plots. I like Byrne in all of the montenari books- have you read others?

I just downloaded the newest from netgalley. I loved this story. I thought the plots intertwined so nicely in the end. I was totally surprised. I enjoyed Annabelle, I wanted to figure her out. I loved the description of the old house. I'd love a house with secret passages and rooms!
