For Book 2, it's gotta be my mom. We didn't have the money to buy books (and I'm not sure there was even a bookstore in the town I grew up in - and no Amazon in those days!), but despite being a working mom with 5 kids, she made sure to get me to the library every week, to check out a huge stack of books. And, to perpetuate the circle, I took great joy in spending hours reading to my own kids. So, to honor strong mother-daughter bonds, I read Love, Ellen: A Mother/Daughter Journey.
