I find this setting magical because I am in love with NYC in general, fascinated with Brooklyn in particular and was completely enchanted by Francie Nolan's descriptions and passion for her Brookyln neighborhood. I particularly love the setting of turn of the century NYC, making this childhood favorite a perfect fit for this task.
