Approval/Verified: Family -- my whole family were my dealers. Everyone knew I would want books/book giftcards above all else. (I still do.) My mother would read to me whenever I asked, but would occasionally hide books she'd read too many times in a row just to get a break and read something different. (I really, really, really liked the Saggy Baggy Elephant apparently.) My Dad would return all my library books for me and pay the fines I would collect ahead of time by "running a tab" with the librarians. I was bribed with trips to the bookstore if we had to do other less interesting things -- like back to school shopping. My Uncle was always sending me books he found, and left his books to my brother and myself in his will. So the dysfunctionally functional Spellman family was my choice for this task.
Selection: Trail of the Spellmans (The Spellmans #5) -- Lisa Lutz
