Horns is a book by Joe Hill, that is difficult to put into a single category - is it a dark fantasy, or horror, or comedy, or thriller, or all that at once? It was nominated for Bram Stoker Award in 2010, so I guess it sits rightfully on our horror bookshelf :)
Horns is a movie based on the novel and directed by Alexandre Aja, the man behind Haute Tension and The Hills Have Eyes. The movie had its premiere on September 2013, but went into wide distribution only a year later, maybe because of quite twisted subject matter. The author himself liked the adaptation and that should encourage us to watch it after reading the novel!

I read the book and I kind of hate the ending, like he just ran of ideas, it started great, but ended badly, Joe Hill just doesnt know how to end his books the right way...
