Just for fun - are you listening to any music or multitasking while you are reading - or are you listening to your book?

Where are you right now?

Bentley checking in

Dog is looking at me in the loft and wants to go out. I am at the main computer typing away and listening to my book.

Will have to take break and go for walk.

Where are all of you and are you multitasking?

message 3: by Francie (new)

Francie Grice Taking a small break to get my husband set to watch ARCA race at Pocono and fix his lunch. Then I'm breaking out the guacamole and chips and back to my reading. Enjoy your walk, Bentley.

message 4: by Katie (new)

Katie (katie1421) Multi-tasking is not my strong suit! I'm pretty much limited to reading and drinking tea at the same time (which is actually very fitting for the book that I just finished up).

message 5: by Samanta (new)

Samanta (almacubana) I'm slow with my reading because I've had a splitting headache all day....but I'm not giving up. I think I'll go out again to read until dark and then back inside.

message 6: by Michael (new)

Michael (michaelbl) | 407 comments Plugging away. Taking time to do the odd thing at the computer. Listening to Jukebox Oldies on sat TV, playing with the dog a bit, a nap may be in my future.

I'm alternating reading with playing some iPad games. Plus I went grocery shopping.

Doing the same thing. Checking in on a game between chapters. Also trying to keep the wife happy while keeping up with this. It's a delicate balance. ;-)

message 9: by Kathy (new)

Kathy | 180 comments Spent the day reading, swimming, and listening to soft music. I am so sunburned right now I could cry! I have learned not to over indulge.

message 10: by Samanta (new)

Samanta (almacubana) I almost fell asleep just now and I'm only at check point four.

I did - I needed to take the dog out and get a break since I was setting up all night. Back at the wheel now.

It is hard multitasking and getting a book done for sure.

That sounds great Samanta - take a mini break - set your alarm and take an hour nap.

Samanta (almacubana) I'm good now. I ate some soup and I decided that lying in bed is not an option. :D :D

I took a break for dinner, then moved to the living room for a change of scenery, and poured myself a bourbon. Bourbon and Hemingway on a summer evening.

Sounds good Douglass - I think I will get a glass of wine.

message 23: by Teri (new)

Teri (teriboop) I'm just seeing these break threads. Love them. I was multi-tasking all day as we went to the river for some sun, fun, and picnicking then had errands to run on the way home. So I am now burning the midnight oil (literally) to get some stuff read as I'm behind on my personal goal this year.

Yes, I wish that I could do one every hour - but I have my hands full. But they are fun - breaks up the reading a bit.

Teri - I hope you made your goal.
