Yes! I do believe in the theory! In fact, here are my thoughts:
I believe that ever since the big bang occurred, the universe has been expanding ever since. The basic homogenity in the distribution of matter of our universe have, thus, been established as one of the first consequences of this 'inflation'.

I don't believe in the theory... But if Wise's belief was true, and if the universe was 'inflating', the solar system itself would not change, correct?
