(view spoiler)[whoa I can see why Aidan didn't apply for Harvard. Mr Gallagher put too much pressure on him and why would he go after something he doesn't really want? Just to impress the parents? I'm surprised he hid this fact from Clare though.
And it was sad when she thought about the two hour distance that would have been if he been accepted into Harvard (hide spoiler)]

I will be starting in a few hours. I'm babysitting a 3 year old and 2 year old this morning but when I get home I will read for a bit before my study time than pick up later tonight.

(view spoiler)[Clare and Aidan do their own thing but somehow end up with Stella and Scotty. What an eventful night. I mean they left them three times but then met them again (at the bowling alley, at the party and now at the police station ) Sort of unrealistic (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I want them to stay together but at the same time I don't because it seems like they don't have the same level of feelings for each other. I think Aidan has more feelings than Clare who sees everything what it might be rather than what it is in the moment. (hide spoiler)]

Start of 9 (view spoiler)[ I know that they are going to college and not in high school but really. It's midnight and they are still out partying when several of them either leave in the morning or the next day for college. Maybe it's just me but I think it's odd that they are out so late when they have to catch flights in a few hours. (hide spoiler)]

So disappointed with the ending..(view spoiler)[or what was titled the 'Prologue'. I mean it was hard for them to make up their mind and they sort of broke it off and went on to see new people. 8 months later Aidan sends a note regarding the 3rd option they considered (getting back together later). So now they're actually getting back together?

End of stop 14 (view spoiler)[ I'm not enjoying this as much as the other books written by Jennifer. I'm finding this to be boring and confusing at parts and almost forced. (hide spoiler)]

Ending (view spoiler)[Ummmm....I have to say that this goes down there with my least favorite book written by Jennifer. I have loved her past books but for some reason the ending for this one seemed just wrong. A ending should wrap things up and not confuse the reader by having the characters keep changing their minds on things. First they were staying together than they broke up than back together and than broken up again. Than the end shows them changing it all again. It was a bunch of flip flopping.

I had higher hopes for this. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I was so nervous for the characters when first he went in the water and then she followed when he took a while to come back. So glad they both were alright, but it was dangerous of them to do that in the first place. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I really enjoyed this story! I loved how the ending leaves you thinking that they get back together, now that they've each grown on their own and are ready for a serious relationship. I loved the note he sent her with the bowling ball. A super cute read! (hide spoiler)]

Ending thoughts (view spoiler)[ The whole story to me kind of reminds me of just what it feels like for anyone to be moving on to something new in their lives and leaving something else behind. Sure it was based around this particular couples relationship but I think a lot of people can relate to saying goodbye and starting anew. (hide spoiler)]
