I had wrote about this in the Good bad and the ugly thread a couple of years ago (man time flies), I thought you guys might never get to see it as its so British and was never a cinema release, even in UK, lol. I found it absolutely hilarious at the time. One of the funniest time travel movies (aside from Back to the Future which is in a class of of its own), yet pretty complex! I have not seen Hub Tub Time Machine yet, so not sure how that compares but this film is worth your time if perhaps you enjoyed other Brit high concept comedies such as Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, At Worlds End (ie the Simon Pegg/Nick Frost trilogy which I think are fairly known in the states?) as this film has that same kind of wit and wackiness.
I figured it might be lurking in one of our threads somewhere already, but I thought I would resurrect it anyway. I enjoy British humor like this and definitely enjoyed the Simon Pegg films. This one does have that same feel. (Buddies at the pub go on an involuntary adventure)
I really enjoyed IT Crowd, especially the first couple seasons, so Chris O'Dowd was a good leading role character too as far I was concerned. Very funny. Anna Faris has a history of cracking me up in her films also (Just Friends. Waiting, etc) so I was sold on this as soon as I saw the preview.

I watched this and thought it was hilarious! Thanks for the heads-up.
Just watched it tonight. Found it entertaining in a silly and not especially plot heavy way. They address some of the common paradoxes inherent in time travel and obviously had fun playing with the possibilities.
