What the title implies.

ella This is completely optional, but I made this, and you can put it in the description if you want:

HTML:

< img src= "http://ezgif.com/save/ezgif-345695053..." / >

Without spaces

That's really cool! It's just kind of dark for the description of the group though.

message 4: by ella (new)

ella Oh, okay,

message 5: by ella (new)

ella In the character template, it says occupation. Does this mean we can pick any job without a reservation?

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Yup!

message 7: by ella (new)

ella Great, thanks.

message 8: by ella (new)

ella Is there somewhere where I can see the available jobs?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Mostly just look through the places in Clever. I'm working on a list in Zephilia's, so I'll make an available jobs list or something like that later.

message 10: by ella (new)

ella Okay, thanks.

I also suggest places such as a clothes store.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Yeah!

message 12: by ella (new)

ella Sorry, just because I want my character to work at a clothing or makeup store.

Elvenquill | 137 comments How does my character become approved?

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

You post your character in the appropriate thread and wait for a mod to approve them!

Elvenquill | 137 comments A couple more questions, since this is my first Goodreads Roleplay:
Is the Roleplay itself script based or prose form?
And how does the Request to Roleplay work? For example, do you have to ask to Roleplay in each individual setting/place, or is it a one-time approval?

message 16: by [deleted user] (last edited Jun 30, 2015 02:05PM) (new)

What do you mean by script based or prose form? Here's an example of rp:
Person 1: Linda walked into the garden. Ugh, why was it always so sunny here? It never matched her mood?
Person 2:: Jamie ran into the garden, accidentally knocking into Linda. "Oops, I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed.
Person 1: "You IDIOT!" Linda screamed.

For roleplay requests, you simply ask if anybody wants to roleplay with you. If someone says they would like to, you choose a place to rp, and then you do.

Hope that helps! :)

Elvenquill | 137 comments Oh ok. The way I've done it in the past (script form) was like this:
Person one:
Bob: *enters the room* this... Is just weird.
(A llama is in his bedroom chewing on his sheets)
Person 2:
Llama: what? Am I the first llama you've seen in your life?!

And prose form is pretty much what you described. (And by the way that's not the kind of thing I usually RP about that was whimsical example of the style lol) thanks for explaining!

And ooh ok. I understand. I usually do 1x1, so I'm a little unfamiliar with forum systems.

Great! Is there anything else you want to know?

message 19: by Elvenquill (new)

Elvenquill | 137 comments Um, I think I have a pretty good grasp of it all now, but I may refer back here from time to time. Thanks!

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

You're welcome!

message 21: by Elvenquill (new)

Elvenquill | 137 comments Oh yeah... How do I phrase a Roleplay Request? I opened the thread for it and I drew a serious blank

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Basically you ask if anybody wants to rp. Like this, sort of : Anybody want to rp?

message 23: by Elvenquill (new)

Elvenquill | 137 comments Lol ok thanks!
